February 20, 2007:

Meth Forum was held that was attended by approximately 275 people. Having the panelists that participated include Senator Wyden, Senator Smith, US Attorney Karin Immergut, Rob Bovett, and many other brilliant speakers provided a great insight at the local, state and national perspective of the Meth issue.


February 16, 2007:

Radio Medford's Garth and Rosemary Program had DeeAnne Everson and Bob Wise on the air to talk about the project and also to promote the Meth Forum. Radio Medford provided an entire hour to the discussion.


February 20, 2007:

NBC 5 is hosting a Town Hall Forum with Senator Wyden and Senator Smith to be broadcast live on NBC 5 and NBC 2 at 7pm. Senator Wyden and Senator Smith will also take part in a Meth Forum in KOBI-TV Studio C hosted by the Southern Oregon Meth Project.


April 2007:

Harry and David is now part of our team.


July 12, 2007:

The Southern Oregon Meth Project presented "Brutal Truth: Teens and Meth in Southern Oregon," at 7pm with a second airing on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 7pm.

September 13, 2007:

The Southern Oregon Meth Project was recognized at two different venues. The Chamber of Medford/Jackson County gave the Chairman's Community Award to SOMP. Also, the Oregon Broadcasters Association recognized the hard-hitting announcement, "The Faces of Meth", at its fall conference in Eugene, as The Best Public Service Announcement in the state.
